The pepper cutter is designed for the cutting of pepper halves into strips. There is a range of cutting heads with various spacing options to choose from. The cutter is included in the pepper processing line.
Peppers are delivered to the cutter hopper by an input modular conveyor. The conveyor belt of the cutter delivers the material from the hopper to the cutter head where the material is sliced. The pressure belt conveyor helps prevent the slipping of the material on the cutter belt and ensures continuous flow of material to the blade shaft. The drives in both conveyors are controlled by a single frequency changer to ensure the same transport speed in both counter-rotating belts. The cutter head slices the material into the desired width. It consists of a set of circular blades, the shape of which corresponds to the cutting mat. The cutting procedure takes place off the conveyor belt. The shaft with the drive is mounted on a rotating frame to enable the adjustment of the height with respect to the mat. The shaft is driven by a worm gear with an electric motor, controlled by a frequency changer. There is a scraper installed on the output side for the removal of the material from the gaps between the knives. The cutter belt is cleaned using a water spraying circuit, also improving the flow of the material from the cutter hopper. The cutter frame is set up on adjustable articulated feet.
The device is made of stainless steel structure (quality according to DIN 1.4301), including the connecting material of quality A2 and plastic components. All materials used have been certified for direct contact with food.
