The separator is designed for separating water from the impurities produced during the material cleaning process. It is used wherever the waste generated during the cleaning process cannot be drained into the public sewage system. This includes waste from the pea separator, drum grinder, or the vegetable drum washer. Water containing technological waste is fed into a rotating perforated drum. Subsequently, water is separated and drained into the sewer. Waste is delivered by an auger inside the drum towards a discharge hopper of a worm conveyor, where it is transported into a waste container.
The device consists of a stainless steel tub, inclined towards a water drain hole, and a waste hopper. There is a rotating drum fitted inside the tub in two bearing housings. The separator is driven by a worm gear with an electric motor located on the drive shaft of the drum.
The device is made of stainless steel structure (quality according to DIN 1.4301), including the connecting material of quality A2 and plastic components. All materials used have been certified for direct contact with food.
